    Help! - Windows XP problem

I need help, as I am rather slow with these things...

I went away for 14 days, when I get back and turn on the computer here, it says my "user profile" cannot be found or loaded properly, so it loads a guest user or something.

I figure I have to reinstall everything, but the problem is I would like my email from Outlook, and all my contacts.
Right now, when I open Outlook, they are all gone, because I am on a different profile.

Is there any way to retrieve this?

Any help will be much appreciated :-)

Oh, and yeah, "format c:" will happen AFTER I have done this, so save the smartass remarks ;-)

look in your "Documents and Settings" directory.

If you still have old files from your previous profile they will be in there.
    i.e. C:\Documents and Settings\USER\

try copying the information there from each directory to the directories of your new profile.

    That might work

If your user path was deleted, than it's nothing you can do but kill the administrator... ;)
User path is in the previous post...
