I'm going to be setting up the fireworks display in Newport Beach over the next couple of days. We will be setting up over 1200 mortars. 110 will be going off for the finale. My buddy asked if I wanted to blow up shit, sounded like a good time. I'll try to get some video and pics up after I get back

Last Saturday, I trekked over to the Sacto area with a few girls and a small crew (where fireworks are legal, unlike where I live), and so we lit off a few bags of safe and sane fireworks near the river. Good fun, although nothing on the epic scale that you are talking about.
We weren't there for the fireworks though anyway...
