If a tree falls down in the woods and no one is around to hear it- does it make a sound?

guilty until proven innocent. by all reasonable explanations and known wordly attributes, this would in fact be the case. this would lead to justified reasoning that it does, in fact make noise.

in this case, prove do me that it doesn't.

or, i could just put an audio recorder in the forest, and catch a tree falling. technically, nobody is there

Its the good ole rule of all sales.

20% of the webmasters make 80% of the money.

Most webmasters are visually impaired from a design standpoint and don't have a grasp on marketing techniques to lead consumers to a close.

i suppose that's true. i just hate though with all these crappy galleries out there, if someone makes a nice, but fairly simple and clean gallery, everyone hates it and tears it apart.

i guess part of it stems from my own experience with galleries converting. bleh.

actually, i shouldn't necessarily say "converting", but discuss the CTR. that's more important from the gallery's point of view. true, it can influence the buyer, but i think it is very little. once the surfer clicks through, they obviously have enough interest, and it's in the paysite owner's hands.
