It doesn't explain republicans, it explains every fool fanatic who thinks philosophy is a team sport. If you "identify" with a political party but have no power in the party, it is the same as being the fat white turd who sits on the couch and supports a team of players who would beat your ass while laughing at you and fucking your wife if they even knew you existed.

Having a brain means making your own decisions, not being a tool who needs a crafted message.
