    Web cam solution?

I'd like to set up pay per minute/session web cam on my site. I doubt that I will have additional performers or many users as I'm fairly niche and not aiming for the big time. That said, some sessions could have a a couple of dozen viewers simultaneously,so I'm not sure how that affects things. I'm running on VPS so could I host it myself? That said, I have sod all technical knowledge so that might not be such a good idea, unless the suppliers install and support.

Has anyone used these guys: LiveCyberCash? It looks like they only take a 20% cut with no other charges and handle everything even payment processing. Seems too good to be true and as my old father used to say "If it sounds to good to be true, it usually is"

Any suggestions for a reliable and economical solution welcome....assuming the two aren't mutually incompatible :-)

If you would like to check out our system at http://2Much.net I think you will find it to be much more interesting than LiveCyberCash. We currently offer a flat-rate license option with 0% rev share, and will soon roll out a rev-share version if this is what you prefer. It will plug in to your existing Epoch, Segpay or CCBill account, so you receive all of your sales directly from your billers. We'll even give you a 30 day no risk demo to try it for yourself.

Feel free to call us at 866-892-5122 Ext #1, or icq 322403761, or via Skype at "markfrom2much" for a demo and walk-though. I think you'll be impressed.

          Anyone use any of these?

2much starts at $500 + $135pm + payment processors 15% or so versus 20% all in for LiveCyberCash. What do I get for all the extra $?

To be clear, we do not charge you 15% - It is the processor that charges this as a transaction fee. These rates with the processor vary depending on the deal you have with them. Here's a quick breakdown:

We might be able to negotiate a better rate for you if you use Segpay or Epoch. CCBill gives you a discount of (I think) 1% for every $5000 worth of sales that you do each week. If you already have a site with CCBill then LiveCamNetwork can be added as a sub-account of your existing account and your total sales tied together to qualify you for the discount rates.

If you don't want to use a 3rd party processor you can also use a merchant account with LiveCamNetwork but of course you would require a payment gateway such as Netbilling.

Also FYI : We will have a booth at the upcoming Qwebec Expo (http://qwebec.com) and will be offering live demos during the show.
