I hate being late to the party, but it is impossible to keep up with the people that seem to play 24/7 right from the start anyways and seemingly dedicate their entire lives to the game

It is going to be a good one though, might be worth dedicating ones entire days and nights to it

Let us know how it is, I played the beta but I'm really curious to hear how the rest of the game is...I think I might just break down and buy it and just say fuck work this week decisions...decisions.

yeah my download stopped and the downloader client disappeared off of my other monitor. I am guessing that the servers are melting over there at Blizzard. Now I can't even get the download to start back up.

Played for about 2 hours now. I'm not sure if I will enjoy this type of game or not, too early to tell. So far I'm not terribly thrilled about anything.

Yes, once your battle.net account is created, and you have paid for your copy, you can download either the mac or windows client anytime you need to do so. It's always there waiting for the next new PC, Mac, or reformat.

nope never pushed any cutting edge pornography really, lol. Yes, hype and excitement i understand. But wanting to be first to buy something? Never been that way so maybe thats why i dont understand it. Like people sleeping in front of apple stores, why would you want a new product so bad? Why not a month later or so.

this is completely different than the example you state, with games like this, being first helps as you get a jump on everyone else and that can often have advantages in economy and knowledge etc...

It was available at midnight. I'm sure the local Walmart still has some in stock, but I wouldn't try the game stores.

They've only been working on it for ten years. Give them a break! Jeez...

I'm not buying this one. I spent about 2 years playing Diablo II. I used to buy a new computer everytime Blizzard released a game.

I'm gonna pass on this one. I'll give them a year and a half to release patch 1.04 before I buy it.

Lol,no to finish diablo III you need to kill diablo otherwise name game wont be diablo.Forgot to mention their credit line it's like 20 minutes long,seems they have million of employees which working/worked on game.

Server issues have all been resolved and the game is bad ass

well, diablo 2 the game name was diablo and you had to kill Ba'al, so I just assumed wrong then

so do you like the gameplay compared to diablo 2?

Ball was killed in expansion,diablo in original.And i did noticed a lot of things different from previous version:
-graphic much better,full 3d with amazing background
-unit graphic not so good,kind a maybe too cartoonist and also a bit too dark background color
-now it's fixed stats and skills tree as well,no more character builds as before where you put x number of stats and put points only on certain skills,now you can use all skills.
-no more mana nor mana potions,it's replaced with spirit which is generated by hits
-kind a seems much easier then d2,especially with monk which have self heal spell,but will see when i reach inferno level(that is new compared to d2)
-now in multiplayer each player have it's own loot,so that means no more loot stealing
-also in multiplayer games there are no game creations anymore as before,now you select which act you want to do so that means no more rushing(unless maybe over private game but didnt' tried does that working)
-seems no more list of side quests list as before,to found out what side quests are seems you need to explore achievement list(but not sure)
-act 1 is longest act,act 2 kind a very short,act 3 even shorter.
-good how they covered all aspects of story,history of every monster and everything,but diablo respawn kind a dont have sense.
-to combine gems you can use npc and that cost gold
In shortly it's good game and better then d2 but will see how community will accept some of those changes.

I'm getting into the game now that I advance in level and see some difficulty and depth in the game. Production of blogs have suffered and continue to suffer. Damn it...I should not have bought this game

On the other hand, if sales slump, perhaps I can make up the difference on the real money AH
