    Wordpress question themes vs frameworks

    Ok, quick question.

Why would I use a framework over, lets say this:
    http://themble.com/bones/

I am new to wp design and it seems easier to use the bones theme.
That being said I am sure there is a good reason to use a framework instead?

When I am building them now I pretty much design a site then add the wp shit into it by hand so either way is probably better, would like to know the difference though.

    Thanks.

some have the functions (framework) that all is needed for everything on the site, i usally if i am using a framework i build a child theme using the functions.

but mainly i just start from scratch

      Thanks Fris for responding.

I downloaded the thematic framework since it was free and I wasn't sure how they really worked. I wasn't sure what to do in regards to actually making my layout using this.

I have seen you and a few others mentioning using frameworks a little bit lately and wasn't sure if it was something i like, needed to do adapt to rather than how I was normally doing it.
