    google question?

    Ok..

    toolbar is grey and says "Current page is not ranked by Google."

    Does that mean banned, or just not listed yet?

    I simply means the page is not ranked. It might be banned. It might be pending listing. It might never get listed.

        From what i've read about the matter:

        Grey = Not listed.
        PR 0 = Banned.
        26 + 6 = 1

          PR 0 does not mean banned.

            Ahh, just what i'd read. Thanks for the correction. Is there any way to tell if a domain has been banned, using the toolbar?

              I don't believe so, although I am looking for a good way to efficiently tell if a domain is banned, I've never had one banned yet so that's always good

                If you are banned you are not in the index at all. Trust me.

                  I heard if you are banned you can tell by searching for the domain, then if you get the message:

                  "If the URL is valid, try visiting that web page by clicking on the following link: yourdomain.com"

                  That means you aren't banned.

                  If that message doesn't get displayed, then you are banned.

                    I heard the same but it would be nice to verify that. Anyone know a url which is definitely banned on google?

                      Google gives that message even on banned urls.
