    Groupon collapsed

Groupon's stock has been absolutely crushed since the middle of February. The stock dropped another 5% today.

The bad news for shareholders is that it's still arguably overpriced. With a $7 billion market cap, it's trading at 3X revenue. It still has some room to fall.

Honestly i am not sure why does anyone uses them,i mean seriously 50% for discount and another 50% for commission. If they would charge only 5% then i am sure they would maybe worth less but it would be more stable.

I thought exactly the same thing when Facebook turned down $4b.. Like what the fuck you gotta buy that's worth more than $4b?! But I was wrong, so far.

Groupon is like submitting to the hun circa 1998/99. If you knew what you were doing, if you understood the traffic and knew how to market to and convert the traffic, then you were golden. If not, you were just another part time, broke dipshit that got a gallery listed and woke up to a $4000.00 bandwidth bill and zero sales. That pretty much describes the vast majority of Groupon merchants.

My partner and I in a mainstream business played with Groupon, living social et al, played with different deal types/structures/wording etc and found what worked well for us in terms of getting people in the door and turning them into long term, paying customers. Then... we just made that our business model and do not use Groupon or similar sites anymore and continue to be overwhelmed with the response without Groupon.

                                .
Yes, fewer illegal immigrants working equates to more job opportunities for American citizens.

This is bad news for Groupon Stock (GRPN). The stock doesn't look good in April. It keeps going down and down.
