CCBTools Dead?

Is CCBTools dead? My install stopped working and I've been trying to contact their support for a week with no responses. I tried Tanker on ICQ and Skype as well.

They *DO* get round to things eventually, but I'll confess that I've been very, very dissatisfied with the customer service. The reason I moved from Script5 was poor service and Tanker assured me at great length that it was their #1 priority. Well, I beg to differ.

The file /home/pdcash/public_html/tools/include/config.php is corrupted. Ensure that you use binary mode when transferring files with FTP and disable the 'TAR smart cr/lf feature' if using WinZIP
Why dont you simply do what is says to do :=)

There's this company who does take support & service very seriously. So seriously in fact that they have a fully staffed office of non-outsourced developers and support techs that you can even call should you need to. I've heard that they're pretty well used within the industry too. If you'd like to give it a try I know a guy who knows a guy, see sig!

In all seriousness, if you're having issues, we'd love to help you out. If your'e not quite ready to handle all of your own payments, etc. you can even use NATS to power your stats, campaigns, ad tools, etc. while allowing CCBill to continue to handle your payouts. Get in touch if you'd like to discuss anything or have any questions.

Yeah I was thinking about moving the other way from CCBTools to Script5 until grisey told me that the dev of script5 just abandoned ship. Slightly encouraging that you say they *DO* get around to support eventually.

John, very interesting post. One reason I ruled NATS out right away was because I am a very small program at this point and did not want the overhead of handling my own payouts. I'd be interested in speaking further to learn more about what your solution can offer.

And the advantage of woj is if you want some customization or new tools developed he's around to do them - at a reasonable cost.

i'm switching to woj's tools myself. in the end, the best affiliates just want access to content, i give them members area access and let them take what they want/need.

And the advantage of woj is if you want some customization or new tools developed he's around to do them - at a reasonable cost.

i'm switching to woj's tools myself. in the end, the best affiliates just want access to content, i give them members area access and let them take what they want/need.

Hey Peedy, if I were you , I would not waste any time in reaching out to the guys at http://sliiing.com

What they have been able to do with their remarkable product is light years ahead of any set of tools that we have seen.

You talk about detailed accurate stats, that are relatively easy to set up and install, you would be doing yourself and your affiliates a huge favor by at least checking them out.

The features are robust, and we are seeing great benefits with sliiing already and are slowly beginning to incorporate more of the features they offer.

And I forgot to mention that their responses are very prompt,friendly, and insightful

More to the point, NATS does provide great support, weekends or late at night, doesn't really matter, there support is great. Nats can be complex, but if you have questions you can just open a ticket.

and they will take the time to answer you.. As an example of this, Two or three weeks ago.. I opened a ticket asking what steps I would need to take in order to change my members login from usernames to email address.. Nats took 12 minutes before they reply to the ticket, asked me some more information.. but they told me how to do it no stress..

There support is killer, and it is just not about fixing broken stuff. There support will help all away around. Which is really nice.

But that doesn't look like it's been updated in a while. The script is rock solid though. I have never had a single issue and updates were always done before I even knew there was an update.

If they're still around and responding to inquiries, I wouldn't hesitate to buy and use the script.

Just thought I'd add in another vote for NATS with CCBill paid program setup. Great functionality and second to none support.
I'be used Woj's tools before and can also recommend them. I've also recently trialled Sliiing and I can highly recommend this too.
The way I am running my sites at the moment NATS is the only product which can provide the complex functionality I require though.
