    Anybody else using DISQUS ???

    You like it? I do, but I wonder if these surfers realize exactly how much valuable information it gives the admins of these sites about them $$$. I also wonder how long it will last. brb almost 420.

      Well, how much info DOES it give the admins beyond email address and name?

          Do you know if the comments are indexed by the SEs?

          I know the FB version ones are not as they use an iFrame....

                  Well I checked out one blog site and noticed I could log in using google log in info. If you choose that you get a warning that disqus wants some information from your account, but it doesnt say WHAT information. So that's why I asked what exactly is the additional information that disqus requests and receives from google if I log in to comment using a google log in account.

                  Are you saying it gets search queries I've entered while logged in? So it can target me with ads better, or what? That'd make sense.

                  Seems like it'd be easy to search and get the answer to this, but a couple of quick searches didn't tell me the answer.
