Why is cloud server bandwidth so expensive?

I keep looking at packages and they look fine until you see the BW.

Whats the point of unlimited resources if you cant serve the content to anyone?

all that bandwith will put a strain on thier storage networks.

for cheap bandwith if you need alot of it using sans is not the way to go.
