Oh, wow. Doesn't look like you got much of a response either. BYO converts a hell of a lot better for just about anything. Traffic guys know their traffic better than the program owners... Let them cater to their own traffic!

It seems they would rather spend thousands on great content and minimal on a high converting tour design. Fact is, a lot of tour designs are ugly as fuck, outdated or they don't take into account modern UI/UX experiences.

Seriously, sponsors, wake the fuck up, you're throwing money away.

I agree, and I recommend private tours to many of my affiliates. Affiliates know, or should know, their traffic better than any program ever will. Aside from that, a program creates tours as a "catch all" to try and best accommodate a wide spectrum of traffic. If you have traffic that likes XYZ, another affiliate has traffic that likes ABC, I need to try building a tour that accommodates ABCXYZ... whereas you can set up a tour that accommodates XYZ and the other affiliate can set up a tour that accommodates ABC.
