Anyone know a wordpress user permissions plugin that does... (read post)

I'm hiring a few people to make edits on thousands of posts on a site of mine, right now I can grant them editor which allows them to edit posts, make new posts and delete them.

Does anyone know a wp plugin I can use which has the ability to only let people edit and add new posts and take away the ability to delete anything.

May sound silly to hire people you think might delete posts, better safe than sorry.

Would appreciate the help if anyone knows a good plugin.

set up a user as author? does that not do it? (ive never really messed with user accounts)

they cant edit other peoples content only their own, as far as i know anyway. thats what i set up new accounts to when hiring writers on the assumption they can't edit others

These guy will be editing existing posts and making new ones so the author role wont be something I could use.

Ive been using Advanced Access Manager. works great and is free

setup the user as an editor and edit the editor settings in AAM->access manager
