Yes, enough for there to be almost as many decent paid apps there as there are on iTunes each month.

Cydia supports paid apps now which I'm sure you know. I don't have my devices jail broken at this time but I have in the past and was very impressed with some of the apps you can get there which apple will not allow. The options for using your iphone as a mobile wifi router and laptop tethering were extremely handy and drove me to jail break my phone. Once apple finally came out with a hotspot function I went back to the ball and chain.

I have an idea for an iOS app if you're interested in partnering up. I am a qualified software architect with 12 years experience in Enterprise development if that helps. The app would have to be sold via Cydia but I can promise you it would be worth a great deal of money if we can do it.

Just checked it out but what is the advantage of it? Its just an app serving our mobile site correct?

Yeah...that's one is pretty basic, one screen.

The main advantage is that it's a directly link from the users launcher to your site. No getting sidetracked by the browser. It's not a huge thing by any means, but it is your logo and a quick hit to your site the next time they're stuck in the bathroom with their phone

You can add more screens and more info/forms/urls/etc.

can't stand mobile versions of forums/websites

my android is powerful enough and screen big enough I always have to go through the headache of selecting "full site" when sites force the crappy mobile version on me automatically, hate that
