You make a dating platform, using state of the art shit, done for 95% and prepared for international deployment (multi-languages).

All running in a cloud (apps, messaging, storage) and the client stops with it because he has financial problems and will not pay 1/3 of the invoice.

Yeah that's indeed what I'm going to do, missed 1/3 of the agreed payment and have a new Dating platform. Still have to figure out what to do with it.

it definitely sucks ;[. develop a contract that requires payment upon completion of milestones, and require a down payment to start. it'll help to weed out flaky clients and if you get fucked over at least you'll have some compensation for your time.

Well 66% was already paid, partly upfront.

The shitty thing what disappoints me is that we agreed that I would get 20% of the profits because there were all kinds of contracts made with big media partners.
