Wordpress gurus (theme related)

Just a question out there. I'm wondering if anyone's came across a theme that structures the root page like this:

3 column, center being the sidebar.
Each colum on left and on right contains two types of posts.

Lets say the left shows updates that fall into every other post type being displayed as summaries while lets say the right one shows only gallery post types being displayed as full posts.

Just as easy for me to create a custom template for the page to do it but figured id ask if there was a theme that could already do this easily enough.

I haven't seen a theme that does that, but yes it's doable.

ive seen this, but no sidebar in the middle, for couples blogs, where the guy is on the left, and girl is on the right (posts)

if you have a design in xhtml/css would be easier that way you can port it to a theme.

I guess a loss of sidebar in middle is not the end of the world. on either side would be ok,

I think I remember seeing something like this that's based off categories and not post types.

more minimalistic and clean, but yeah. With ability to show all types except "gallery" as only summaries

never saw something like that, but obviously can be done. And not hard to do at all, other than the strange layout, it's pretty basic unless you want to add more bells and whistles

That theme is ugly as they get but easy to do. I can see something like that being useful. If the middle so called sidebar was a join/sales scheme it would really stick out.

its a chinese based theme, so weird yes ;)

anything can be done with design of a theme, just build it from scratch the exact way you want, use css
