Google Analytics for subdomains

Do you use google analytics to track subdomains on your primary domain? If you have like 20 subdomains, how do you setup google analytics to properly track traffic for each individual subdomain?

while setting up analytics choose option 2, i cant recall whats it says.,

but something like multiple subdomains., then copy and use that code , that code will track the subdomains also.,
