Wordpress Plugins for Amazon Promotion

Never promoted anything on Amazon before but am about to test an idea I had.

I see there is quite a range of plugins available.

So before I get started are there any plugins for wordpress you could recommend that save time, help sales or generally make life easier while promoting Amazon?

I've personally never made too much off Amazon but if you're planning on pushing it read Chris Guthrie's blog http://www.makemoneyontheinternet.com/ he really knows his shit. He also has a decent podcast. I know he was selling some type of plugin a while back that pulled Amazon feeds but I don't remember the name. Anyways his advice on building review sites pushing Amazon products is pretty damn good...

take a look at that theme. The site isn't loading but I remember seeing some amazon plugins designed to work with that theme, really cool theme. Its pretty amazing what it can do and the flexibility it offers I guess thats where they got the name

Assuming I have a site based on Amazon products i.e. product pictures from Amazon, linking to the product with Amazon Associate ID and hand written content;

Is it okay to use adsense banners to monetize on the same page?

If it hasn't already been suggested, try phpzon or phpbay (same thing but for ebay). I've done pretty well with both of them over the years especially when I use search queries to create new pages.

depends on that really.

Just looking for things that will ease the workload on a simple blog style site foused on a certain product category:

Getting affiliate links and pictures to products, picture renaming, categorization etc
