The first 3 or 4 Friday the 13th movies were pretty good. Low budget horror with a bit of T&A. All the action occured in Crystal Lake. Jason (and his mom) were basically killing kids who were on the verge of having sex (since Jason had supposedly drowned while camp counselors were busy humping). Jason didn't even wear the trademark hockey mask in the first couple of movies!

Now Jason is a cyborg who travels through time and space, slaughtering for no particular reason. Lame.
