Running windows apps on a windows server?

Something I was curious about is whether or not you could run native windows apps on a windows server without any major hacking.

If so, this could have a lot of potential uses...

Just wondering, any feedback would be nice.

we have a lot of customer who used windows servers to run things from forex trading platforms to tube submitter, etc. Most major corporations run there internal apps on windows server, Microsoft Exchange, Sharepoint, Accounting Applications. etc
