DVD burning??

I am looking for external dvd burner. Anybody have any good suggestions? I hear that pioneer and sony make good ones. but I can't find an external one.

what about Ikebana? Do they make good products?

I know just don't use HP brand, they are slow and poor software.

Most of these companies buy the drives from Pioneer, Philips, Sony, or Toshiba, and then put their names on them.

I personally like LaCie. I've been using their products for over 10 years without any problems. Their cases are rock-solid

The Sony DVD burner mechanism is worth looking into because it supports both writable DVD formats (DVD-R/RW and DVD+R/RW).
