Debian, powerdns users update, fix for vulnerability we reported

Debian and PowerDNS have released an update to fix the DOS vulnerability we reported last week. All users of PowerDNS, the third most used DNS server, are advised to update. Update RPMs are also available for Red Hat, Centos, etc.

I am posting this for wide distribution now only because wikipedia and other high traffic sites have already implemented the patch over the last few days.

    For more information see CVE-2012-0206
