I wasn't crazy about the Thin Red Line either, but my tastes have changed in the last several years, so I might give it another chance.

Anyway, tell yourself you'll sit through Tree of Life from start to finish, without complaining, or waiting for something that fits your conventional idea of "exciting and interesting" to happen.

Turn off your phone, focus your attention -- maybe even smoke a joint, or take some kind of mind altering substance -- and give it a chance to the end.

no it really isn't... and i'm a TM fan...


He does an excellent job visually with his movies but they roll at a snails pace and can be a bit pretentious at times.

Basically the best cinematographer of all time who they allowed to direct...
