Magic got the best drugs early on, i've heard that they can't even detect the HIV virus in his blood anymore. Not sure that means he's cured but it's obviously a good thing.

Personally I think his TV talkshow was a bigger tragedy than him getting AIDS.

I may be being hyper-technical here, but no one ever said he had AIDS.

He was HIV-positive. You don't "have AIDS" until you get sick with the opportunistic infections, etc.
