How do you automate tasks? Scripts?

I would like to be able to automate this

1. Select youtube videos (by hand)

2. Download audio (have a ff ext for that)

3. Transcribe (using software on my computer)

4. Embed the video into html page

5. Add transcribed text below video in same html page

6. Add php includes (same one every time) above and below video

I don't know how to write anything - do I need a script, it is a script I need, right? How do I learn how to write them? I know I need to come up with a template and I am lost from there .. I'm willing to pay for help

Take a look at Auto Hotkey - ideal for simple (and not so simple) automation. You can build your own script in just a few minutes.

I'd say you're giving away too much information here but nobody works anymore anyhow.

So using a program to control mouse/keyboard functions is basically a very simple way of scripting something?

If someone can do it and use a site with link juice or whatever it is and get ranked in engines and all it is a trillion dollar idea for sure though

I seriously doubt anyone has done this on a big scale. Drop me an ICQ sometime if you have an example you can show. I have some staff that might be able to mass produce this and a programmer than can help automate certain parts. I can probably get some traffic to it as well and have an idea on monetization.

I use ubot studio (Warning: obnoxious autostarting video) to automate all kinds of stuff. I have a directory of bots that I made to do all kinds of shit. It's great for lazy bastards like me.

To me it sounds like he plans on transcribing music videos and offering the lyrics on a site while embedding the video so someone can sing along. Or perhaps the same idea with a TV show or a movie.

It could make for a cool site, but not that revolutionary. Will be particularly annoying when Viacom, Sony, Warner Brothers, or any of the others find the video on YT and force the pulldown.

Transcribing from songs would be impossible with all of the instruments and background noise and all of that shit... unless the voice is a seperate track? Not sure how all of that works.. but even then, I don't see that working ...

Didn't you test the transcribing (voice recognition) and find that it really didn't work well? The rest is fairly easy. If you have the voice recognition working well I have an hour long speech I did that I'd love to have transcribed. Maybe we could give each other a hand.

I found a way to make it like a broad range of voices .. Willing to try for free what the heck
