    CCBill Custom Join Forms

We've used the same ccbill credit card/check join forms for 5+ years, i've noticed the percentage of people actually completing their personal details and submitting the form compared with form hits has slowly declined over the past 3 years.

I compared the year to date with the same period in 2009 and 2010. These are the results:

    year on year:
    2009 - 19.14%
    2010 - 14.67%
    2011 - 10.87%

Percentages are quite low as we do not and never have advertised the price anywhere on our sites, so people click through to find out the price (it's always been that way), other than that, Form hits are steady, approval % is steady year on year.

Logical thinking dictates people are less impressed with a price of $30 than they were 2 years back, I reckon that is the likely cause for the decline. But, we've always used the standard forms, and they are pretty average looking, has anyone tried custom forms and designed the join forms around the site, i'm thinking about building them but it takes time, I wondered if any of you have feedback as to whether you saw an improvement or not?

Hey Sojproductions I thought the same thing about people not wanting to pay 30 bucks for membership until I tested a merch account join form right next to a 3rd party join form!

Back in march 2011 the merch account join form out performed ccbill join form 5 to 1 in 4 day span!!

We were shocked, horrified, elated, and confused with the findings because we felt like our normal sales levels should have at least quadrupled what our sales had been with ccbill up to that point...

So for me,my content,my traffic, I have wholeheartedly concluded that you will never see our true income potential if we are at the mercy of 3rd party billers, you actually do work for them and its an exercise in deception to convince yourself otherwise

So to answer your question I personally don't think it is the price to join that is so much an issue, as you pointed out form submits are down significantly as well as approval percentages

but what is constant are the hits to the forms, we are sending the leads to the forms and just not getting the consistency of 2 years ago
