    I'm looking at the lifeproof case, as it's not too bulky. What are you using?

      Looks pretty good.. i use an otterbox defender i believe its called.. it has an integrated lcd screen protector :D

          Apple's not already ripping you off for everything you have, they can't even make a phone that won't survive unless you put it in a silk case padded with Dodo feathers and dyed red with the blood of unborn children?

          Shit, I installed a new sub-floor in my kitchen using my shitty LG phone as a hammer. Grow a pair of balls and buy a real product that can handle normal day-to-day use without demanding a fur coat.

                      Jesus. What are you people doing with your phones? I buy a $5 rubber shell and go about life with no problems.

                          I'd like to keep it from being scratched or damaged in the rain. The lifeproof might be overkill, which is why I asked for recommendations. Do you think the $5 shell is mostly a placebo in a way and isn't really helping?

                              Whenever I get a new phone I go on overstock.com and get a rubber case and a few screen guards. It costs about $8 including shipping.

                              I am living in South Florida and its the rainy season. I am in the rain more times than I'd like to be. I also sweated a ton this summer. I also drop my phone a lot ... usually in parking lots. No problems.

                              If I were on a job site that required a lot of use I would see the benefit of a military grade case. As a geek living a regular life it seems like overkill. Or maybe I am just lucky?
