Need software to sync local folder with ftp folder

I backup my hard drive to an ftp, but, when I clean up some files and delete things, they're still on the ftp... I would be nice if I could delete the files I delete locally from the ftp without having to keep track of them all..

If you're running unix, check out rsync or unison.

edit: it appears that unison runs on windows also?

Is it free? Why is it free? Drop box... Does it use the server I tell it to or do they just provide one? Is that the one I heard about way way back when?
