Due to bugs in various video players, especially Microsoft's, you can't stop it with a simple Apache setting. You need a system to generate, authenticate, and track secure tokens. For historical display only. This information is not current:

Strongbox - The next generation in site security
Throttlebox - The next generation in bandwidth control

You still need more than that - I have never used this but you need something that will do what this claims to do - http://www.hotlinkingprotection.com/

Our MediaVault product does this and is used by almost all of our adult customers however, it would require you to deliver your content over our network which, most Tube Sites use a CDN these days. Unless you have a very small site, it makes sense to use a CDN for large scale delivery.Last edited by mountainmiester; 11-01-2011, 12:41 PM.Comment

"/" . $htime . $fname; ?> <script type="text/javascript"> var so = new SWFObject("player.swf","mpl","450","290","9"); so.addParam("allowfullscreen","true"); so.addParam("allowscriptaccess","always"); so.addParam("wmode","opaque"); so.addVariable("autostart","true"); so.addVariable("file","<?php echo $url;?>"); so.write("flashcontent"); </script>Comment
