Looking for an automatic MPEG cutter

One that can cut MPEGs every minute or so and save the output and do the whole MPEG AUTOMATICALLY without any intervention. I know I can do it with movie editors etc, but I am looking for a program that can just do it...

    Any ideas?

Before you go buy software Scoobs, make sure that it cuts mpegs and adds the header info to every file. There are a ton of mpeg cutters out there but they do not add the header on to every file. Mpegs have to have that header to work. Tmpgenc will cut a Mpeg but only the first file will play correctly.

Maybe it's a version thing but the tmpenc I'm currently using seems more than happy to cut mpeg's that will work on just about any system. Tried them on a lot including macs with no problem.

You can take a .mpeg file then cut it into multiple files that all work?

It must be a version thing then.
Strange, their site is still very specific on the point that it will convert AVI to mulitple Mpegs not chop an mpeg into usable chunks.
          What version are you runing?

ver 2.5 of tmpenc plus. To be honest I thought I'd have the problem you mentioned. Not knowing how to look for header info other than to see if the clips work I gave it a shot. They seem to run fine on 4 different windows pc's and at least 1 mac.
