Quick questions.... What's your opinion on how to best utilize a SEO for starting up a business. In other words, I have a SEO software I purchased. However, the company that is developing our website for webcam business is affiliated with other company that does SEO. Should go with my develop's vendor or stick what I am using on my own.

The best thing you can do for SEO is have real unique content on your site. As you add inbound links you add more content to the site. A well designed site for seo have good navigation. as you add more content to the main pages of the site also add links to those pages. Do it slowly over time and consistently at random. Link velocity is important. Software is not always the best option especially if it is using blackhat techniques.

Dont use the software. It could cause problems. The best idea is to do your own research across the web and read the various articles...that way you will learn. Study the pathways on your website, break down each pathway into sections and study it...how can you improve that pathway and so on. Google uses learning machines, neural pathways, etc.......in the end its got nothing to do with seo. I dont even have meta tags on any of my websites because its a waste of time filling them in. Create the right pathways and the serps will follow. Wish you the best of luck.
