I'll be buying a 4S today, you want to know why?

I'm not even up for a phone upgrade yet, so I don't get the uber discount. The new 4S will cost me $250, plus an $18 upgrade fee (I called ATT to find out). If you go look on the bay, iphone4 is still going for $300+ dollars today.

So I will get a brand new phone, and make around $50.

The Apple fanatics love to get their hands on the newest product first. I want to upgrade, but I don't want to buy an iPhone 4S then 6 months later they come out with the iPhone 5 and I'm stuck for another year. I might just buy a used iPhone 4 and wait.

you obviously don't own an apple product. it doesnt matter if its the same exact fucking phone and they add a purple rhinestone on the back and call it the iPhone 4S Plus, people will still sell their kids for it.

Plus, all the people that have problems with the iPhone 4 (like myself before I switched to an android) will think "the iPhone 4S will solve all my dropped calls and shitty connection problems!!! Yippie!!!"

I want a Galaxy S 2, but fucking Verizon decided not to carry it Currently I'm without a contract and using a Droid X and it's fine, but I'm dying for something newer, but I don't wanna jump too soon for a minimal upgrade, when awesome phones are in the pipeline. Maybe I'll have to wait for the Galaxy S 3 to hopefully come out next year in the States.

I know I could always jump providers, but in my area, it's either Verizon or ATT and I'm grandfathered into the unlimited $30 net, even when I sign a new contract, so I don't wanna lose that.

I don't know what excites me more. I have just got an iPhone 4S, which is a fucking slick phone with 64gb, amazing cam and this talking Siri and I got a very impressive value added to my Apple shares just in last few days.

There is always a lot of fun in being an apple fan, I guess this is why people get excited.

I'm on Nexus s + iPhone 3gs. Iphone still wins in interaction but certainly weaker running media.
