    Content Zip Size

For online content download, what is your prefered size of the zip files? A range of lower (too small to bother with) to upper (OUCH!) would be nice, but a figure somewhere in between that works for you would be appreciated as well.

I'd say the option to choose.

Do you mean, if some is buying 1,000 pictures, to offer them either one huge zip file or ten small ones? I could see how I could do that, but I'd still need an idea of lower and upper bounds on it all.

I rather meant the option to choose among a couple of different image resolutions and thereby setting the zip filesize.

I prefer downloading the best resolution myself, so that'd be big zpi files, while some just want webready images which would be a smaller zip file.

If somebody has the connection, he would prefer big sizes (we have downloads up to 10GB per zip)
The others will order it via CD Delivery anyway

pretty sure most webmasters have FTP clients that can resume a download so nothing wrong with big ZIP files.

Um........ jpegs and mpegs are already compressed, i'm not even sure how much ZIP'ing helps. Anybody know?
I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

Thanks- that's what I figured but, being a primary producer all along, I've never bought content.

MPEG-1's see about a 10% reduction in zip files. Main advantage though is pulling a group of images/videos in one swell foop.
