This is an old one, but for anybody selling domains or websites watch out for this too

A person by the name of Michael Bortman is going around doing a domain apraisel scam

Domain without content is ok with me. Web site is not necessary.
If, for example, the valuation comes higher you can adjust your asking price accordingly. It will be fair. I also hope you can give me 12% - 15% discount.

After you send me the valuation via email (usually it takes 1-2 days to obtain it) we'll continue our negotiations.

If you wish to purchase the domain name please do so through Sedo.co.uk . It has a listed price of £1000 which is roughly $2000

As I said before that is the only way which I am prepared to sell the domain.

The domain comes with the website if you want it.

I will be putting it up for auction on Sedo next week, so if you do want the domain for the listed price on Sedo I suggest you buy it now as I have no control of how much it will sell for

Yeah the appraisal scam has been around for a decade. Just send him back the appraisal from Estibot and tell him you're ready to proceed with the sale.
