    Apache - apxs help

I don't have apxs installed on this PC at work. The box was loaded with Redhat, which I guess does not include APXS.

Is there any way I can just copy the script from a binary distro and configure it to my system (It seems to just be a perl script) without re-installing apache?

I'm gonna try, but looking for some advice before I do. Perhaps someone has done this before?

I'm trying to install the maxmind mod_geop module. Been running the pure PHP for a while, time to clean things up. Comes as .c .

      It's Redhat 8, Apache 2.*

Apache 2.x is still a developement branch. Install version 1.3.x
Even that, for Red Hat installations it's best to compile a new apache yourself. The Apache that comes with the RedHat distro sucks a lot.
