i use epoch as my main processor... what is a processor that will take about any credit card... might as well keep the users.. instead of just letting them go off.. and buying from another site

Verotel may help squeeze a bit more out of your backup traffic, as they process several other types of cards as well as the usual biggies. They also offer phone billing for Europe, and SMS direct debit for The Netherlands, Germany and Austria.
The only problem I have with them is their slow response to email. They don't appear to offer webmaster support via phone, either.

i wouldn't use a secondary processor for processing declined cards at all. those cards are usually trash and you can get in trouble cause of them.

Why not use them all. Not as backups but all together in one solution? Epoch, CCBill, PSW as the main processors. Netbilling if you use your own merchant account, and of course Electracash for checks and NoCreditCard for your dialer. All in one complete end to end affiliate automation software. TRUE cascading of the processors and superb statisics, reports, and more... you name it, and you will have it... Now this was pretty blatant self bragging I must say. Oh well, it's the truth.

That is completely wrong buddy... All processors have their own fraud protection and they do their scrubbing in different ways and with hightened security on certain days of the week or month to spread out their risk over different countries and regions. If a processor takes a transaction it is because the processor is certain that the transaction is GOOD. Otherwise they would be out of business. We have proven this point over the past year using three major processors in the MPA2 cascading billing solution and we have seen no higher CB ratio whatsoever among all processors and among all our clients using MPA2 - So the end result is thatOriginally posted by max.yambo

1. You will make more money (20 % plus signups compared to using only one processor)
2. You will be in full control over your processing
3. You will not get any higher CB ratio, as long as you are compliant.
4. Your affiliates will be much happier because they are making much more money with your program now than before
5. You will have more webmasters signing up for your program when they know you are using a true cascading billing solution.
6. The processors will be very happy because you are sending them all signups.
7. You will be able to pay out on checks to your affiliates
8. You will be able to pay out on dialer for your affiliates
9. You will spread your and your affiliates risk over more than one processor.
10. You will be able to buy your wife/gilrfriend beautiful flowers every day because you are making so much more money.
11. And a new pocket-knife for your dad and one for your mom, if she is into that...
12. You will be enjoying automated gallery and picture of the day builders to your webmasters.
13. I will be making more money because you are...
I could go on and on, but my hand just caught a slight cramp from all the writing, so this should suffice for now. Read more about it on our home pages and the education will be complete my friend...

** Max, do your homework...it scares me that a processor in our biz can be so wrong! Cascading billing does work and chargebacks and fraud are not incremental under the model. If you are a third party processor you know that scrubbing is set diferently to assist in mitigating issues across multiple accounts. This happens on different days and times so much so that legit and clean cards just get caught in the laundry. Cascading allows you to pick it up and run with it.
Dude, I am glad you not my processor...shizzle my fizzle nizzle.Comment
