First world problems

My laptop left mouse button is now depressed for some reason such that it sometimes decides to doubleclick when I press it. So if I'm trying to view an email in Outlook for instance, it might instead open the email, then when I go to close it, it closes the email and then Outlook.

I may not be in Africa starving but this is annoying the crap out of me! What are your annoying first world problems?

Yea but that can be and often is a third world problem. First world problem would be you didn't notice that your favorite leather jacket had a hole in it until wearing it on a cold night and you're cold in that one little spot.

Even the power outage yesterday/early this morning here could potentially be a third world problem in certain areas, but first world problem would be that the power outage caused me to be unable to DVR Entourage last night, and WGN has been playing them in order from the Pilot, so now I'm going to have to find that episode somewhere so I don't have a blatant hole in what's happening on the show.

This is called switch bounce. They all do it sooner or later. Well designed circuits will have a "debouncer" designed in there, but for things such as mice that wouldn't be desireable.

As for my first world problem, it's that the government thinks it's ok to take my money and hand it out to others. Bunch of leftist hippies on this forum so I'm sure that one will go over oh-so-well.
