Yup, and I'll probably make money doing it. I'll buy an iphone5 for $200, then put my iphone4 up on ebay for even more (looks like the used 16GB are selling for over $300 right now - close to $400).

exactly.. I am waiting for the iphone 5 to come out and see if it's worth the hype. To me if it doesn't have a 3.7" or 4" display I'll go with the iphone 4 if verizon marks it down to $150 or go with the Motorola Droid X2 with a 4.3" display..

If I make the switch to iphone from my last 2 android phones it will be cause of the specs of the phone not just the apple fanboy hype

Exactly. Yes I carry an iPhone 4 but I didn't buy it because it's an Apple product. I bought it because I liked that phone the best. However there's been a lot of movement since then and a lot of products have come to market.

Once thing that still hooks me though is how smooth the ui animation is with iOS. This is probably a very trivial thing for a lot of people but it's very noticeable to me. Using a droid or palm everything looks like a game running at too high a resolution for the video card... so choppy...

Hopefully they remedy that sooner rather than later ;)

wifey has the iphone 4 and an htc droid, there's no comparison if apple continues on this path. It's a dumb downed less versatile POS. thus, I have 2 HTC's myself. The UI is what shines.
