    Google PR 0

    How can this be. I've had a site up that I submitted to google in January... it was brand new then. Later took it down for a few weeks due to unavoidable circumstaces, and now it's back up again. Last week I noticed that the site has a PR of 0.


    Does it mean that google banned the domain? Or is it just at 0 cuz he site is new?

      The site is new, probably no links to it, no reason for Google to care about it. Probably not banned, just a zero.

                                  IF it has no links in, it wont be in google, and the PR will show as a grey bar "Page currently not ranked by google"

                                  If it shows a white bar "Pagerank 0/10 " it is possible that you have linked to bad neighbourhoods or been penalised for questionable tactics or the like...

                                  If it's still listed in google (ie if u search "site:www.blah.com blah"
                                  and get a result) it might just be that you dont quite have enough to be PR1 but I doubt this would be the case. It's most likely been penalised.

                                                      YAh if a site has HAD pr, then goes to 0 suddenly, you know youve been penalised.... OR your backlinks have been taken down...
