Burn your DVD's on a mac in OS X so you don't have to sit at your computer and make sure it doesn't crash. If you care about your data you'll get rid of that Microsuck OS. Sorry I'm not very entertaining , just honest.

I have found if you are burning dvd's or doing anything with video. The only thing that should be on is that program and go read a book .The problem is not xp the thing the program is using 100% of your cpu and memory resources. I dont touch it and stopped having crashing problems. Thats why eventually I am getting a computer just for that stuff, like all the books say.

Naw it's just zipfiles but I have BAD luck with computer systems. They really like to pull the PMS trip on me, and this computer (even though it's less than two months old) likes to more than most.. I guess I'm new to the OS too (I used 98 until we got this beast). Bleh.. It's annoying.

I hope it is not important what you are 'burning'. Mac or Windows users, if they are serious, know that only an idiot would make such a lame post while working on one machine! I doubt you are stupid but using one computer to work on and post?

Read a book instead and learn while working or get another computer or a few more.
