Hey guys and girls One of our customers requested to build a membership website using this wordpress plugin http://www.magicmembers.com/features

Anybody used it before? Looks pretty decent for small sites or starters!

It's amazing but if you don't know it could be really frustrating, as powerful as it is it can be a real pain in the ass, so it's aimed only to experts or people who has lots of time.Of course, once you get it going it is second to none, it beats the crap out of many CC processing programs (WP or not) and with a bit of imagination you can use it to "cascade" billers like with NATS

is it easy to customize the layout ?

the only thing you may customize is the forms themselves, there's nothing else to customize. And it's pretty easy to do it with CSS. Plus, the forms can be arranged, mixed, complemented and placed in any way you want and anywhere in a site.

the above being said, the default option is HORRIBLE, both aesthetically as functionally. But customization options are almost endless, so their horrible default may become perfect.

Anyway, I think they did a great job from a coding POV, but they're those kind of coders that have no idea of UI, UX or aesthetics, that's why their default sucks so much. But as long as they give me the option to customize things as I wish, I'm a happy camper and couldn't care less

Magic Members works really well!

I couldn't get zombaio working on there though. So I ended up switching and now I use amember instead.

Magic Members takes a while to setup but it is not hard to use. I loved using it, just couldn't automate my payments properly.

didn't you hear? Non-WP CMS were NEVER hacked or compromised!



The usual reports about them and their vulnerabilities are, like global warming, the holocaust and earth roundness, just a hoax or a conspiracy coming from commies, jews, arabs, hahahahahahas or all that at the same time!
