Ruby on Rails is like a top secret programming language.
Only 3 people can code in it and it takes two if them with matching securities keys
to unlock it so it runs on a server.
On the extremely positive side; the programmer is always handcuffed to his PC
when coding.

The thing about rails is you build build things (assuming you can code it) in a small fraction of the time it takes with other languages. Twitter was originally done in RoR but then it had scaling problems. Keep in mind how much traffic they get though.Comment
