    email notification app for Droid?

I'm about ready to take the plunge and go from iPhone to Droid... today is my last day before I can return the droid and get out of the contract.

I bought a Droid Charge and messing with it, along with a few apps I bought its a pretty sweat phone. Biggest downside is all these apps that are RAM & CPU hogs.

On my jailbroken iPhone I have some app called "email enhancer" which will show a popup box with the senders info and subject line, also reads that info to me which gives me a hard-on. Is this available for the Droid? I can only imagine it is, but the app I purchased doesnt do shit

Any other suggested apps? I bought Go Laucher EX, extended controls, widgetsoid, beautiful widgets and juice defender.

there is an app calles Appkiller or something like that. I stops all the apps from booting at start up and then you use them as needed.

Have you checked the app store??

although I would also go and get the cyanogenmod and the phone rooted you can also check this apps, they might work for you https://market.android.com/details?i...=search_result

          or
https://market.android.com/details?i...also_installed this last one I think only works for gmail

I have the original droid and it's wired in directly to gmail account. I run ALL of my email through my gmail account, so I can pick up and receive all of my email quickly. I love it.

The iPhone loves to push their apps, but I've found that there is an app on droid for anything I need. One of my favorites is the police scanner where I can listen in to the local popo - always amusing.

thanx everyone for the info, I have the charge, love it
Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
              think about that

                  not necessarily

iPhone drops calls ALL THE TIME. AT&T wont of course take fault but I used a Droid phone from a friend for a few days, not one single dropped call in the same place where my iPhone drops calls.

I purchased the stupid cases and nothing. I bought 5 different bluetooth headsets ranging from $60 to $180 and they all sound like shit. People on the other end complain about the quality and this is bad news for business.

I jailbroke my iPhone because it was missing a lot of features that I really needed to have. Since then, along with a number of apps I purchased I have not found any value in keeping the phone over going to the droid.

                  2 things...

                  1) I pay an additional $60/mo for a mifi device through Clear 4G which SUCKS. I do not recommend anyone to use this service. With the Droid I get 4G/3G tethering for $30/mo and I only need to carry 1 device

                  2) There are a lot more options as to what I can do on the Droid then I can on the iPhone. Sure, its not an "iPhone" that I can plug into the many devices that I purchased to use with an iPhone, but at the end of the day I have less problems with the Droid then the iPhone

My galaxy s2 keeps getting hot as hell and recently the battery has been draining super fast.

Have you been experiencing anything like this?

I might even send mine back, when I spend 500 pounds on a phone I expect it to be bloody perfect lol.
