Well after about a 4 year break from getting my koi as seen in my Avi, i decided to get the rest of my back done and connected to semi-complete my back piece for the time being. I'm POSSIBLY entertaining the idea of getting the rest of my back covered eventually but I really like how everything has come out so far. Just figured id share!

the koi is 6 years old now and hasnt changed but one bit. it always gets sunscreen put on it and moisturized. ink isnt the way it was 30 years ago...aka old sailor tattoos turning to crap. not to mention if i get it touched up it will stay fresh. Even if it does, when im 50+ i dont think ill be taking my shirt off too much

I think it stands for Inflated Lat Syndrome

Acronym for Inflated Lat Syndrome. ILS is a primal threat/mating display observed in the human male. The ILS display involves the male human holding out it’s arms away from it’s body at approximately a 20-40 degree angle and then walking with a slow deliberate gait inorder to look more imposing to other humans. The posture is used primarily as a form of non-verbal communication such as a mating display to attract or impress females or as a defense or dominance posture to appear larger to a threat or to intimidate rival males.

Invisible Lat Syndrome. Guys who walk around thinking they're the man. Their arms are spread so far out that you cannot see their latissimus dorsi.
Look at this fool walking into gym class. He is only 15 inches wide but somehow he cannot fit through the doorway. Don't touch him, you might get ILS.
