Classipress WP Theme

Does anybody use this wordpress theme for classified sites?
http://www.appthemes.com/themes/classipress/ The licence it`s 100 bucks but the costs for customizing are huge. I`m talking about 3k for a simple childtheme without categories + sms billing payment implementation , offers that i received them today.
Any suggestions ?

I am looking for something which is easily modified as I intend to add lots of custom features which I cannot find in existing scripts.

WP based would be a plus also.

we can do the first one for $1300, 100% custom with any requested feature and something like the second one for $1000. In both cases with modular built so you can add, take and modify elements at will. Billing implementation possible, but no idea about SMS billing, I'd need to take a look. Anyway, just lmk if interested

There's been lots of improvements and new versions since then and i have been following them, lots of functionalities and stuff. I would say it is a really nice classifieds theme for wordpress.

I found a classified plugin also http://www.awpcp.com/ Looks nice, i`m going to give it a try tomorrow morning to see how it`s working. I noted your suggestion open-classifieds.com , thanks, i will try it too.

ad verification: no idea what do you mean, but anything (and I mean ANYTHING) that can be done with any CMS can be done with WP, and that's not exactly a secret

And btw, I doubt anyone would have to worry too much about WP handling 500k visitors a day, I doubt 99.9999% of sites get that amount of traffic. Just saying

can ad be aproved or disaproved by the site manager.
500k visitors a day on buy / sell / bidding site is heavy traffic

Been using http://www.awpcp.com/ for awhile now on a mainstream site cars-sales.com and the guy who codes it is real helpfull if you have problems with it

Classipress is a pain in the ass to work with. We heavily customized it for a client. Granted, they changed the specs halfway but $2-$3k for the customization isn't all that out of the world for what you're asking. Like harvey said, might be cheaper to build a custom theme than to try and bend classipress to your whims.
