Freesite Feedback Please

I've decided to start making some freesites and would just like some feedback as to whether what I've done so far is good - and if not why not

I realise that the thumbs don't show up in the galleries, I havn't uploaded the pics.

What is a good compromise for number of gallery images. From looking at the link list, average number of pics ranges between 25 and 50 and then there are the "big" free sites with 100s

Also, do many link lists all exit/entry consoles or is it a similar story to TGPs?

Personally, I'm not all that great w/ free sites, but I have found that at least 10 pics per gallery works fairly well.
Also, most link lists that I know of will not allow exit/entry consoles of any kind.

A few things I noticed about your site;

You have no advertising on your warning page. This is the first page that surfers see and your prime advertising space, especially the top. I would put juicy ads on this page and move the recips to the main page at the bottom, since their traffic leaks right now. Personally I always use text, not buttons as recips to save bandwidth.

A freesite also does not need a logo, you can have one if you like but the whole point of your site should be to sell the sponsor, not to look "pretty" . I would use only 20 pics, 10 per gallery or 30 if your going for a DMOZ listing but no more than that! Don't give the whole boat away. 50 pics sites are a big no-no IMHO

also try to swap links and add more domains and link them all the way at the bottom of the page,,,use wierd text like $@!_*
symbols as links,,,,helps out with link pops
