I get it but shouldn't they just cross the border to the closest country that is not involved into war conflict? I can now predict there will be a ton of EX USSR people flying to Libya to ask for asylum in EU from there.

I'm only guessing here but I can't imagine Algeria, Niger or Egypt offer any real type of future for someone walking across the boarder. Nothing even close to the EU. If they are fleeing violence then yes run across the boarder. But for a life of free social programs there is no comparison.

Then pay proper prices for oil, cocoa, coffee, minerals, coal, iron ore etc etc etc....

Distribute the world's wealth fairly around the world and less people will have to move to survive.
