I just got one about a week ago and used it yesterday at my local Cars and Cafe.

The sound is kind of muffled when it is in the case and because you can clearly hear the Seagull, I'm guessing its out of the case which would reduce its size and cut the weight almost in half.

Seagulls are scavengers and they pick up all kinds of trash to investigate for the possibility of food. The GoPro is silver which is a fishy color and its the size of a Hermit Crab in its shell so its quite believable that a Seagull could fly away with it.

One thing that is odd is it happened at night and Seagulls usually roost at that time and don't go flying around.

Tiffany Thompson was a rare exception. Most models that I work with are great! Only had a couple of exceptions over the years.
