that 3 digit code on the back of your card. they already required it for all mastercard and all international transactions. this week they are adding it to all domestic visa transactions as well. not exactly earth shattering

well thats good, fraud is BIG problem. I spent all morning writing letters for chargebacks.

I can only imagine in adult its alot worse. And imagine the ammount of time issuing banks spend w/ customers on this.

SO SICK OF FRAUD. Consumers have caught on to this whole chargeback thing

It depends on your hello pages...mine have had it for some time. Maybe they called to tell you they are in fact changing your hello pages.

a good idea would be to have issuing banks clarify what that number is for the consumers, like label it or something. bottom line is you lose sales if cvv2 is required

IBill has had its problems recently, but things appear to be calming down. Intercept seems to have it's act together for the most part.

Anything to reduce fraud and lower credits and chargebacks is a good thing.

Our processer (Netbiling) has their system setup so we can require CVV or make it an optional field. Since we have our scrubb set differnetly for different sites, some are set as required but if the bank does not support it, the system will let it go through. Other sites we have no CVV2 at all on the join forms. I like having the flexibility.

p.s. Jive... Ibill sucks ass! We dumped them 2 years ago and never looked back. Having our own merchant accounts have done wonders for us.

Their stand at the Amsterdam show was the lonliest place in Amsterdam.

But the authorisation is a good thing, lets hope more follow.
